Previously the United Nations has estimated that the melting ice at the North Pole of the earth, will melt out in 2100. However, there is a new statement issued by scientists from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), USA. The scientists say that ice at the North Pole of the earth will melt in about 4 times faster than the time estimated by the UN.

The results of the research has been launched by International Business Times. Pierre Rampal, the department of Earth, Atmosphere and Planetary Sciences, MIT, warned that the predicted melting of the ice can vary with the reality in many places in the North Pole. This was caused by differences in model Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) with actual facts. The result is a prediction of a previously submitted is not accurate.

The data is predicted by using a variable temperature changes. So the reports and predictions have been made before by the UN not yet complete, because they forget the existence of a mechanical impulse variable in the measurement of time melting ice. Mechanical impulse is such as wind currents that hit the ice and ocean waves that can hit the ice wall. Temperature changes that occur over and over again will make the ice becomes more brittle, so that the ice melt so much faster than predicted by the UN.
