A hacker exciting competition will be held by Facebook. In this competition, Facebook will challenge the best hackers around the world in the second year of competition Hacker Cup.
This competition may be followed by all people around the world, without exception. Hacker Cup is an online contest, which will start the registration on the day Wednesday, January 4, 2012. The qualifying rounds whiz computer program will begin on January 20, 2012, and will expire on January 23, 2012.
Each participant in the contest will have three questions that must be completed within 72 hours vulnerable. Participants who successfully complete a minimum of one question, would qualify to round Online I, which will be held on January 28, within 24 hours. As with qualifications round in this Online I round, each participants must solve at least one problem, in order to qualify to the next round. At half Online I, Facebook just search for the best 500 participants based on the correct answer and the speed which successfully printed by the hacker.
Once the round is completed, participants will be faced with the more difficult the next round, in round Online II. In this second round the participants are given only three hours to solve the problem. This round will be held on February 4, 2012. A total of 100 participants will get the best gift t-shirt official Hacker Cup.
After that, the list of hackers who get into half Online III will be sent via electronic mail. Final online round will take place February 11, 2011. A total of 100 participants have to solve the problem for three hours. Online Round III will choose 25 best hackers around the world.
25 best hackers who have been elected, will be flown by Facebook to its new headquarters in Menlo Park, California. The best participants must compete again in the finals to be held on March 17, 2012. The first prize winner will receive U.S. $ 5,000, and the title as the best hackers in the world. Ranked second will receive U.S. $ 2,000, ranking the third U.S. $ 1,000, and the rest will receive each U.S. $ 100.
At the time of implementation of Hacker Cup last year, about 12 thousand programmers participated in the first Hacker Cup. Google officials from Russia, Petr Mitrichev, became the winner of the race that is held by Facebook. Mitrichev is a powerful hacker who also had become a contest champion Code Jam 2006, hosted by Google. This contest challenged programmers the world, to solve the puzzle algorithm.
