List of 10 biggest hole in the World
Apparently, the earth we live in also has holes so big in some places. There are holes that occur naturally, and some are due to human actions, such as mining. These forms are also very impressive hole. Consider just a few pictures below that show the biggest holes in the world.
1. Darvaza Gas Crater
This hole is located in Turkmenistan. This hole is a hole of natural gas. Discovered in 1971, when the geologist is to dig to find new sources of natural gas. However, when the excavation done, all of a sudden the ground just ambles in, and left a huge hole. To avoid the release of harmful toxic gases, so the hole is then burned. Because the hole is because the human act, the possibility of opening a big can still be improved if the mining activity has not been completed. This is the biggest mining hole who ever made by man.
5. Great Blue Hole
A hole which occurs naturally in the sea. Its location is in the area of Belize. The depth of the hole is 400 feet, with a diameter of 1000 feet, and formed since the ice age. As the name implies, this hole looks blue because the sea water.
6. Mirny Diamond Mine
The Soviet Union also has a deep pit. Its depth reaches 525 meters with a diameter of 1,200 meters. However, right now mine is no longer in operation. 7. Diavik Mine

8. Sinkhole

Mining could generate millions of dollars. But the environmental damage that could occur as the holes in the ground like that. Hopefully, they are also thinking about environmental preservation.
