This is a list of currencies of countries in the world and their three letter code. In this list does not contain the symbols that are usually used to determine the amount of monetary value such as the Euro sign “€”, Yen sign “¥”, Dollar sign “$” and Pound sign “£”.
Currencies of all countries
The three letter codes currency is standard code according to ISO 4217 but not all of them. As known, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a federation which acts as a standards body for the countries in the world. Most of the three letter code consists of two characters of internet code, plus one character for the currency unit. An example is Japanese Yen with three letter code JPY.
