Microsoft won a lawsuit against Motorola
Federal Trade Commission United States issued an order banning imports of 18 products smartphone and tablet Android-based of Motorola, entered the territory of the United States. The order was taken after Microsoft won a patent infringement lawsuit software to Motorola Mobility.

All Motorola products are prohibited is considered to violate Active Sync Exchange technology owned by Microsoft. The list names of the 18 products which are prohibited entering the United States are below:
- Motorola Xoom
- Motorola Droid 2
- Motorola Droid 2 Global
- Motorola Droid Pro
- Motorola Droid X
- Motorola Droid X2
- Motorola Atrix
- Motorola Bravo
- Motorola Spice
- Motorola Flipout
- Motorola Backflip
- Motorola Flipside
- Motorola Charm
- Motorola Cliq
- Motorola Cliq2
- Motorola Cliq XT
- Motorola Defy
- Motorola Devour
A statement issued by the General Counsel of Microsoft, David Howard, Microsoft’s take the case to court because Motorola was considered stopped paying licensing intellectual property that discover by Microsoft. Howard then added that he deeply regrets shall take such legal steps. The action was undertaken with the aim to find solutions that Motorola is willing to pay a patent license to Microsoft.



Up to now, it is not certain whether Motorola will be planning to pay a patent license to Microsoft software, or this company will take other steps to remove those features in their prohibited products. Meanwhile, in response to the defeat on the legal case, Motorola claims will continue to sell their flagship product in the United States. Motorola said in a statement, they will continue to take proactive steps to ensure that their smartphone products will remain available to the market in the United States. As is known, the phone company has now officially bought and owned by Google.
